Q: What exactly is physio coaching?
A: Physio Coaching is a customized fitness program designed for you by our expert rehab and training team.
Q: Is physio coaching like personal training?
A: While you receive a customized training plan, what makes physio coaching different is that your training is designed with input from both a certified strength coach and a rehabilitation specialist. Your physio coach will design a program based on proven methods to get maximum results. You will regularly communicate with your strength coach (AKA your physio coach) and a rehab specialist to make sure you are training without any pain or issues.
Q: What is the benefit of working with a strength coach and a rehab specialist? Don’t I just need one or the other?
A: It’s no secret that most healthcare operates in a vacuum, and that is particularly true for many physical rehabilitation specialists and personal trainers.
When people are discharged from physical therapy and want to start exercising again, they risk re-aggravating that injury if they don’t approach training correctly. And personal trainers don’t generally have extensive training in injury prevention or modifying exercises to accommodate previous injuries. But when they work together in physio coaching, you can train without risk of re-injury and make greater progress because your workouts are tailored for your unique body mechanics.
Q: That sounds like a smart way to train! It must be expensive. How much does it cost?
A: Actually, physio coaching is more affordable than buying any of our personal training packs! Physio coaching costs just $179/month, making quality training available for most budgets.

Q: Is there an onboarding fee?
A: Yes, there is a one-time onboarding fee of $199 for your Physio Coaching Jump Start, which includes all of the following services:
- Reviewing your injury history
- Reviewing your history of medical conditions
- Reviewing recent rehabilitation exercises (if any)
- Reviewing current / recent fitness activities
- Developing short and long term goals
- Reviewing home gym/fitness studio exercise equipment available
- Integrating rehab, injury prevention, and fitness exercises into a comprehensive training program designed to meet your unique needs
- Reviewing the time you have available to exercise
- Reviewing your level of exercise experience (And don’t worry – you don’t have to have any experience to get started!)
Q: Can I meet with my physio coach in person?
A: Yes, in addition to regular virtual meetings, you can schedule an “add-on” meeting at any time. These add-on meetings can be done virtually or in-clinic. (SCHEDULE LINK)
Q: How do I get my customized workouts?
A: You will get your workouts delivered to you via our app, which means you can do them whenever it works best with your schedule. It also means you’ll know what all of your workouts for the coming week look like so you can plan your week. But you will have regular check-ins with your physio coach and your full physio coaching team. This ensures you are training safely, not experiencing pain with any movements, and continuing to make the progress you want.
Q: What else do I get as part of physio coaching?
A: With physio coaching, you’ll be training the way athletes train – with a well-thought-out plan backed by decades of research, and you’ll have strength coaches and rehab specialists collaborating to help you build a solid foundation. Don’t worry if you aren’t an athlete or even have a history of exercising regularly! The same principles apply to help you gradually improve your strength, balance, and skills so you see real results.
You’ll get four workouts per week delivered to you via our app, designed around your goals. That could include improving your balance and stamina so you can hike more confidently in rough terrain or be ready for your annual ski trip!
