We help therapypatients safely transition back to sport and activity withpost-injury personal training. And we help training clients prevent injuries by starting everyone with a Functional Movement Screen to check for imbalances and getting input from our therapists on safe modifications.
That’s why we created a membership program that’s unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else – our Total Health Membership. You’ll maximize your strength and performance and have your health team at the ready to keep you feeling your best.
Below are answers to our top questions about our Total Health Memberships. Talk with one of our staff members today to sign up.
Q: Is the Total Health Membership monthly or annual?
A: It can be either! You can sign up for a monthly membership, no minimum commitment required. Or you can save an additional 10% off our list price with an annual membership, pre-paid in full. Whichever option you choose, you’ll be billed (monthly or annually) around your sign-up date for as long as you are a member.
Q: Does everyone get the same benefits with a Total Health Membership?
A: Everyone gets the same types of benefits, with 1:1 training, small-group classes, and quarterly access to therapy or massage, but we offer three membership levels, so you can choose the one that’s right for you!

Q: I love personal training, but group classes aren’t my thing. What Total Health Membership would work for me?
A: If you have someone in your family who’s also interested in improving their overall health, you should consider our VIP or Founder’s Club memberships. You can use the personal training sessions, and your family member can go to group classes – or vice versa!
Q: What kinds of group classes are offered?
A: Our team has created fun, dynamic classes you won’t find anywhere else.
A: You don’t have to be a member to take a class, but members do get priority. Class sizes are very limited to provide more personalized attention, so you will need to sign up for any classes you want to take. Members get a special code to use when registering for their free small-group class/week.
Q: I haven’t exercised in a while; can I take group classes?
A: If you aren’t an existing training client, you’ll need to have a Functional Movement Screen before you can participate in either personal training or group classes. But our classes were carefully designed with our therapists and certified strength and conditioning specialists to offer modifications for many common injuries and most activity levels.
Whether you’re just returning to exercise or are more advanced and want to take your training to the next level, you’ll find the classes to be accessible, fun, and challenging!
Q: Will I always work with the same trainer?
A: You can choose to stay with the same trainer, depending on availability, or have sessions with someone else if your regular trainer isn’t available. Our staff collaborate weekly, so anyone you work with will know what you’ve been doing and if you have any injuries or mobility issues.
Q: Can I substitute an extra personal training session instead of a group class?
A: There aren’t substitutions available, but all memberships include discounts on additional non-therapy services, so you could always buy additional personal training sessions at a discountif that is your preferred way to train.
Q: The earned wellness appointments (PT, OT, or massage) – can I choose which one I want?
A: Yes! If massage services are not available at MoveMend, you will receive a voucher for one of our preferred service partners.
Q: I recently bought a 20-pack of training sessions but haven’t used them all. What happens to my remaining sessions if I sign up for membership?
A: Please call our office manager at (206) 641-7733 to find the best solution for you.
Q: I’m in! Is there a sign-up fee?
A: We do have a one-time onboarding fee of $299 that will be waived for current clients.
